Individual brilliance will manifest in Black Stars- Dwamena

FC Zurich and Ghana striker Raphael Dwamena says individual brilliance will manifest in the Black Stars team starting from next year as the team goes through re-building under head Coach Kwesi Appiah.

Dwamena revealed this prior to Ghana-Egypt game last weekend. He mentioned that the aim of the current Black Stars squad is team development and individual brilliance will begin to show when the team hits it peak next year.
“When the team performs, individual qualities will pop up, everybody will see it on the outside. Right now the team is concentrated on team building. We the players are focused on been united and hopefully by next year the individual brilliance will show”.
The 22-year old revealed that his ambition is to win trophies with the Black Stars in the future. According to the Swiss based striker, the future of the Black Stars is great, due to the introduction of the new young players into the team.
“We got a great future with the new players in the team. We are there for each other as team-mates and we have to stick together as a team to achieve our aim. We can do everything if we stick together as a team.
“The future is bright for the Black Stars because we have a lot of young players. We have to work hard and we have a long way to go. There are a lot of things ahead of us being the Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers, World Cup qualifiers and many more.
“I want to do my best when I represent my nation. I am not only looking forward to scoring goals for the Black Stars but I am looking to win trophies with the national team”, he added.
Dwamena also mentioned that the current Black Stars team is focused on the team development. He also revealed that he has overcome his botched move to English Premier League side Brighton and Hovesin the summer.
Raphael Dwamena has scored two goals in his three caps for the Black Stars.
