Accra Brewery Limited rewards outstanding distributors

Accra Brewery Limited (ABL) has hosted an awards ceremony to celebrate and honour its hardworking key distributors for their contribution towards the fortunes of the company in 2017.

The dinner and awards night, held last Friday, is an annual event which forms part of the company’s relationship building activities with its key distributors.
At this year’s event, four key distributors won awards in the Gold, Silver, Bronze and ‘Most Improved Distributor’ categories, taking home GH₵20,000, GH₵15,000, GH¢10,000 and GH₵5,000 respectively and cases of ABL products for their exceptional performance.
Denby Enterprise, located at Teshie in the Greater Accra Region, won the gold award, which is an improvement on last year’s silver award.
Emmanuel Brenya Enterprise, who also won bronze in last year’s ceremony, won the silver award this year while Cimarco Limited won the bronze award.
The highest growth award also went to Gen X Trading Limited.
In the regional awards, Danspet Enterprise won the Accra West region while Satea Enterprise also won the Accra East region. Rems World Ghana Limited won the South East regional award, with Akora Trading Centre winning the South West region.
Agyei Baffour and Sons Limited emerged winner in the Ashanti Region while Toleram Company Limited, based in Sunyani, won the North West regional award, with its branch in Tamale also winning the North East regional award.
Each regional winner took home a cash prize of GH₵5,000 plus 50 cases of beer.
ABL Country Director, Philip Redma indicated the company’s appreciation of the longstanding relationship that exists between the company and their distributors.
He congratulated them for their hard work, and noted that the rewards were also meant to motivate others to improve on their performance.
Redman stressed that ABL had experienced tremendous growth over the past few years as a result of the hard work of the distributors, and asked them to continue having immense faith in the company.
He also stressed the commitment of ABL to contribute to the campaign on reducing underage drinking through its responsible retailer training programme, among others.
